AUPL:BUL wash Express

BUL FC (3) VS (0)Express FC

Tuesday evening produced one of the most surprising results of the AUPL as BUL FC thrashed Express FC 3-0 at the Kakindu Stadium, Jinja.

While a win was obviously their target, the magnitude of the win was definitely not what the Jinja based side who are grappling with relegation could have anticipated.

Godfrey Villa Oromchan was in immense form as he scored twice and assisted the other.

Oromochan who was released by Uganda Revenue Authority FC in January spent the afternoon giving Express defenders restless spells with his pacy runs and shooting.

Oromchan opened the can of excitement for the capacity crowd with a cool 6th minute finish after Yudah Mugalu’s cross came begging into the area.

Midfielder David Bagoole, Oromchan again paired up to come close in several occasions amid BUL dominance in the game. Oromchan later provided for Bagoole from a counter sublime counter attack to make it 2-0.

Express were completely subdued and played on the back foot for the rest of the game as Oromchan had a goal disallowed for off-side.

The pair of Oromchan and Bagoole paid further dividends as the Striker scored his second of the evening to make it 3-0.

Express are eigth on the table with 23 points while pull are fourteenth with 16 points.
