UPL: Relegation threatened brothers Masavu & Proline share spoils.

Arthur Semazzi late strike cancelled out Gift Ali’s 12th minute cracker in the battle for survival clash between Masavu and Proline FC at Bugonga fisheries play ground for the two team to share points.

Proline FC lively in the first quarter of the game, Gift Ali gave them hopes of bagging crucial three away points with a 30 yards wonder strike.

Masavu FC earlier chances; Arthur Semazzi was denied by goalkeeper Saidi Keni in the 25th minute and James Kasibante sent wide the close free kick in the 30th minute.

Masavu almost levelled on the 32nd minute mark, Jonathan Katende close attempt picked off the line by Said Keni.

James Kasibante and Dan Isiagi got the last first half chances for Masavu and Proline respectively; Kasibante shot blocked and Isiagi denied by the goalkeeper Salim Wekiya.

Kasibante and Captain Abraham Ndugwa got Masavu’s second half quick chances but could not find the back of the net.

Substitute Iyasele Odili denied Proline the second in the 57nd minute, shooting off target in the 18 yard box.

In the 66th minute, Veteran forward Semazzi almost levelled with a close attempt but goalkeeper Keni was up for the task.

Masavu coach Alex Gitta with a tactical substitution, introduced forward Rashid Kyambadde for defender Philly Lutaaya and Kyambadde assisted Semazzi to score in the 82nd minute.

Sunday Mukiibi almost won it for Masavu but his long range shot in the added minutes went inches over the bar.

Masavu bottom placed is tied with Proline at 20 points in the 15th position.
