Futsal: Mengo, Crown, Parakeets target perfection as the league returns.

After a short break working on the playing surface, the National Futsal Super league returns with seven games on Thursday 15th at International Futsal Courts Mengo(IFCU). Debutants Mengo City, Crown and Parakeets with maximum six (6) points from two games target maintaining their perfect league start against Kabowa, Yeak and Park respectively.

Log leaders Crown entertain winless Kabowa United at 8pm and Nomads play host to new boys Aidenal School of art in the other 8pm fixture.

The anticipated big game of the day will be played at 9pm as Second placed Parakeets take on free scoring and 4th placed Yeak Kabowa with three leading top scorers; Shafic Avema, Ronald Nsamba, Enock Ssebagala each with three goals on his name in two matches. As well Parakeets will look on to Arafat Sentongo and Norris Onegi with three goals each for maximum points.

Mengo City aiming at maintaining the hundred percent winning streak, a tricky test awaits them against an experienced stubborn Park side in the opening match of the day at 6pm.

Debutants and Entebbe based Aidenal SA captain Ronald Ssonko ahead of their third game against Nomads in their maiden Futsal Super league, he asserts;

Though we lost the first game due to pressure, and also getting to learn more about the game, we were motivated by our first league win against Yap Stars and we are aiming at winning continuity going into our third game. Though we have alot of young stars in the team, we want to try continue winning so that we can get a respectable place in the league at the end is the season but if it happens we win the league it will be bonus to us.
