Futsal: Park Humiliate Yap Stars to Keep Their Dream

Park FC became the first team to score double digit goals this season in the 10-3 humiliation of struggling, pointless Yap Stars to keep their title dream alive.

Star man on the day Joseph Bukenya scored five(5), Shaffic Mulangira bagged a hat trick and captain Iddi Babu put the icing on the cake with a brace for Park to keep truck on the title

Park FC ascended to second place tied at 12 points with log leaders Crown that thumped Equator 8-2 to claim the summit spot.

Islam Semakula was up to the task for Crown, managed to score four(4) and lethal striker Ahmed Abdfatah put three(3) at the back of Equator’s net.

Elephants got their first point off Aidenal in very entertaining close context. Aidenal Captain Ronald Ssonko managed his first ever hat trick but failed to get maximum. And in another entertaining clash Nomads aged Bajim 4-2 to prolong their good form.

Rejuvenated side Dream, after three straight losses, got their second and convincing win beating Kabowa united 9-4.

Parakeets and Nomads remain the only unbetean teams in the league, while Yap Stars and Elephants are yet to win a game this season.

Ahmed Abdfatah and Joseph Bukenya of Crown and Park respectively leads the top scorer’s chart with eleven(11) goals, Hussein Muhammed with ten goals and Shaffic Mulangira has managed nine(9) goals.
