Futsal Super League: Park, Yeak Battle For Top Spot.

Log leaders Yeak Kabowa and on form second placed Park return to action this Thursday to fight fo the summit spot when they take on Dream and Equator respectively at International Futsal Courts(Mengo) in the National Futsal Super League.

Park that defeated fellow contenders Yeak in the last fixture, reduced the gap to just two(2) points between them and will target maximum points against 9th placed Equator to go top on the log in the opening fixture at 6pm.

Park will need sensational captain Idd Babu already with 22 goals on his name and new signing Joshua at their best to get maximum to go top when they take on the most organized team in the league Equator FC.

Wounded leaders Yeak Kabowa target returning to winning ways when they take on tricky holders Dream in third place with 29 points. A star studied Yeak side suffered their second league loss to Park and the two sides have lost the least number of games(2) in 15 outings.

Yeak will look on to star player John ‘Messiah’ Musasizi and forwards Avemah Shaffic and Enock Ssebagala who have managed 26 and 21 goals respectively so far when they take on Jamal Muyingo’s Dream.

Parakeets (4th) entertain struggling Elephants at 7 o’clock and a win for them will take them to third place if Dream doesn’t win against log leaders Yeak. And Mengo City will take on bottom placed Yap Stars in the other 7 o’clock fixture.

After a comfortable win against Yap Stars, debutants Aidenal aim to stretch their winning streak when they take on second bottom placed Kabowa united at 9’oclock. The Entebbe based School of soccer Art pinvest their hope in Captain Ronald Ssonko and Ismail Sseguya.

Yeak Kabowa’s Avemah Shaffic lead the top scorer’s chart with 26 goals, Idd Babu of Park has managed 22 and Enock Ssebagala is third with 21 points.
