NemoStars runnig out of time as they appeal for funding ahead of their Cairo trip

NemoStars are the reigning men’s champions for last year’s National League.
Currently, the team is mandated to represent Uganda at the Africa Club Championships in Cairo, Egypt, from March 30th to April 11th, 2019.

Although they have earned the honour of representing the country they do not merit government sponsorship because they are a private club.

They must finance their own trip as they have done for the past five years they have won the national crown.
The club continously continues to appeal to the public for financial assistance.

Nkumba on the other hand organised a volleyball tournament at Lugogo to raise some funds ahead of their travel, despite leaving two of their players at home.

NemoStars could face a fine from Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) should they fail to travel, although the Club remains optimistic towards their cause.
