Futsal: Yeak Kabowa thump Tabula’s Equator to maintain summit lead.

Leading top scorer Enock Ssebagala scored six for Yeak Kabowa in the 12-5 humiliation of Ex International Abubakar Tabula’s Equator in a very exciting game played on Thursday at International Futsal Courts in Mengo.

Yeak star man John ‘Messiah’ Musasizi bagged a brace, Shaffick Avemah managed four and Andrew Katanga was as well on target once to maintain their 4 points summit lead.

Daniel Sempa, Ismail Adan, Ahmed Dahil and Sulaiman Mutyaba scored for the visitors.

Else where, Park edged Dream 4-3 in the battle of the big boys. Park New signing and wonder kid Joshua Aziku was up to the task, scored one and created for captain Idd Babu and Francis Mutanga. Swahib Kazibwe and Ryan Mulindwa were on target for 6th placed and defending champions Dream.

Mengo City condemned debutants Aidenal school of Soccer Art to their biggest league loss ever in the eleven(11) goal thriller. Haruna Ssesanga and Arafat Bimana scored five between them selves, Umar Kamyufu, Julius Muzira and an own goal by John Kakande made it eight (8). Aidenal which had kicked off on a bright note with a 4-2 lead lost grip in the second half to loose 8-4. Samuel Kabugo, Ismail Sseguya and Christopher Sserugo scored for the Entebbe based club.

In the 7 o’clock bloody fixture, Typhoons shocked Crown(3-2). Ronald Sempijja and Ismail Kaire of Typhoon and Crown respectively, were sent off for fighting on the pitch.

In the other games, Nomad beat inconsistent Parakeets 3-0, Elephants bagged their 4th win of the season against Kabowa United and Bajim edged bottom placed Yap Stars

Yeak’s Ennock Ssebagala lead the top scorer’s chart with 36 goals and team mate Shaffic Avemah has 33 and Idd Babu of Park has 28 on his name.

 

 

The league resumes on 25 April with seven match day 21 games.
