Kcca Fc are the champions of the 2018/2019 season and will be crowned tomorrow after their final league game against Maroons Fc at the Startimes Stadium,Lugogo.
But despite a successful season for his side on domestic soil, midfielder Sadam Juma who hasn’t played much football particularly in the second round believes he came short of his individual season targets.
“We had a target with the technical team which I didn’t meet because I picked up an injury. My target was to score some goals and make some assists which I failed to do.”he added
In isolation of his strike at relegated Ndejje that sealed the title for the Kasasiros with two games to spare, the midfielder didn’t feel he has contributed enough to help his team since joining from Express in 2017.
“I wouldn’t feel great for scoring the goal that won the league because as a team we haven’t scored enough goals and don’t have a top scorer so goals have been coming in from different places.”
“.but it was a good feeling for me to score a goal,an important goal because it was my first league goal since joining Kcca we didn’t have a good game.” Sadam said
Kcca will seek to finish the season on a high note at 66 points if they pick up a win against a stylish Maroons team a club which Sadam Juma played for at early stages of his career. The Kasasiros will be crowned champions of top division football for the thirteenth time.
