Futsal: Yeak Take Title Dream To Struggling Parakeets

With four Futsal Super league games at stake to climax the season, log leaders Yeak Kabowa will target to stretch their winning streak against struggling Luzira side Parakeets to keep their title hopes alive when they face off at 9pm at International Futsal courts in Mengo on Thursday.

Yeak(54), six points clear on the summit, invest their hope in star man John ‘Messiah’ Musasizi and league joint top scorers Shaffic Avemah and Enock Ssebagala both with 36 goals already on their names for maximum points against aside that lost 3-1 to debutants Aidenal in the last game.

Else where, After a disappointing five all draw with Bajim, Second placed Park will look on to captain Idd Babu and magical Joshua Asiku to bounce back to winning ways when they take on bottom placed Yap Stars at 8pm.

After a 3-1 win against Parakeets in the last encounter, the Entebbe based Aidenal school of Soccer Art (11th) take on 12th placed Elephants. Aidenal will look on to inspirational captain Ronald Ssonko and Ismail Sseguya for points on Thursday.

Another anticipated tough game will be between Equator, a side that won their last game 3-2 against Typhoons taking on wounded Crown targeting recovery at 8pm.

In the other games, holders Dream face off with other stragglers Kabowa United, Typhoon play Mengo City and Nomad tussle Bajim.

Shaffic Avemah and Enock Ssebagala both of Yeak Kabowa lead the top scorer’s chart with 36 goals, Idd Babu (Park) has so far managed 30 and Umar Ssebuliba(Typhoon) is 4th with 25 goals.
