Futsal: Crucial Wins for Aidenal, Park & Yeak As league Nears End

Table leaders Yeak Kabowa, Debutants Aidenal and contenders Park bagged crucial wins against Parakeets, Elephants and Yap Stars respectively with three games left to end the 2018/19 stirring season in the Futsal Super league games played on Thursday at IFCU in Mengo.

Yeak Kabowa targeting their maiden league title, kept grip on the top spot with a 4-1 win against Elephants. Leading scorer Shaffic Avemah bagged a brace, John Musasizi and Abdulswabul Mugenyi spiced up the win with a piece each.

Joshua Aziku starred in Park’s slim(3-2) win against bottom placed Yap Stars to maintain the six points difference between them and leaders Yeak.

As well, John Kakande, Jordan Kasozi and Fabiano Oyalo were on target for Aidenal to ensure the Entebbe based club get their 7th win of the season.

Holders Dream, thumped Kabowa United in a Six goal thriller and Crown returned to winning ways with 2-1 victory over Equator in a very tough close contest.

With three games left, Yeak Kabowa lead, Park is second and Crown is third with 57 points,  51 and 42 respectively.

Shaffic Avemah of Yeak lead the scorer’s with 38 goals and club mate is second with 36.
