Experienced forward Emmanuel Looki headers guided holders Buddo SSS into the semi finals in the game played at 9am today Thursday. As well Charles Lwanga and Richard Basangwa strikes were enough for St Mary’s Kitende to take the second Quarter final slot.
Speedy forward Looki put Buddo in the lead with a spiking header in the 28th minute and put the icing on the cake with a diving header in the 32nd minute.
Ronald Innocent and Hebert Kibirango missed on Buddo’s other clear chances.
JIPRA only two chances fell to Siraj Zaabu who was denied by the goal post on his loop effort in the 15th minute and shortly exciting midfielder Owen Mukisa’s free kick hit the cross bar.
Buddo SSS head coach Simon Peter Mugerwa was delighted with the result and promised to work on a few things in the semis.
Just like I said yesterday, we need nine points from Quarter to finals, we happy for the first three points and we target and have to work harder for the remaining six as well. About how we will play in the semis, will depend on who we shall be drawn against because at least I watched each team and tried to asses their weaknesses.

Basangwa also got chance to extend the lead in the first half but his long range shot hit the cross bar.
Wakiso representatives Standard High school Zana take on Royal Giants from Mityana in the third Quarter final at 2pm and
2017 Champions Jinja SSS lock horns with Bulo Parents in the last quarter final at 4pm.
Semi final draws will be held at 6pm today Thursday at Jinja college.
