Infantino re-elected for a second term as FIFA president

Giovanni Infantino has been re-elected for a second term in office as the Federation of International football federation president.

The development was confirmed at the 69th FIFA Congress convened in Paris by acclamation of all FIFA member associations.

The Italian who was voted the ninth president in the history of the federation was first elected as the head in February 2016 will run this term until 2023.
