A Uganda Cranes contingent of 36 arrived Monday 17th June evening in Cairo-Egypt ahead of the 2019 AFCON tournament.
The team had camped in Abu Dhabi for 3 weeks as they intensified preparations ahead of the continental showpiece.
Later on,the preparations culminated into 2 friendly games in which the Cranes drew goalless with newest FIFA member Turkmenistan and defeated Ivory Coast 1-0.
Uganda Cranes is drawn in Group A alongside hosts Egypt, Zimbabwe and Democratic Republic of Congo.
