Ugandan winger Abdu Lumala will be fit to take part in The Cranes’ next AFCON group A clash on Wednesday against Zimbabwe.
The pacy winger who played an integral part in Uganda’s 2-0 win over DRC on Saturday suffered an injury while tussling for the ball and was taken off with just under 10 minutes to stoppage time and there were fears that he wouldn’t be part of the subsequent ties.
However,according to the Uganda Cranes’ medical team, Lumala’s injury was minor and the winger will be fit for the second game on Wednesday.
The player was also part of the recovery training session on Sunday evening at the Arab Contractors’ Stadium .
Uganda return to action on Wednesday 26th,June in their second group game at the Cairo Stadium.
