Young Africans new signing Juma Balinya and Agent Ronnie Santos crush over $3000 commission.
Federation of Uganda Football association (FUFA) intermediary Mwine Fred aka Ronnie Santos has come up and openly expressed his wish to sue Cranes forward Juma Balinya over his 3000 dollars commission he had to get while Juma was signing the $30.000 to join Young Africans SC.
The vocal intermediary says they agreed with the forward to get him a club, a job he believes he did well but then Balinya bypassed him and signed in his absence
Its unfortunate that after agreeing the terms and conditions with Young Africans officials, that a player who mandated me with the task of geting him a club in Kenya or Tanzania whom we even signed a contract of one month, went on to sign without informing me. But what I want is my 10% commission ($3000) for the contract that he signed at Young SC because i did my work getting the club and negotiated with Young SC CEO ,coach and Technical manager.
In reference to the contract the two signed, where Balinya authorised Santos to get him a club from 1st May to June 3rd, Santos is not willing to sit but rather threatens to intervene FUFA to settle the matter.
Have given him five days, if he has not reacted then I will write to FUFA and CAF else my lawyer will handle that and I take legal action.
However, when contacted, last season Uganda Premier league top scorer Juma Balinya refuted Ronnie Santos being his agent.
Have litle to say but Ronnie Santos is not my agent, we just discussed about it (become my agent) when I became top scorer but we didn’t reach a common stand. Balinya told Sports256.
