Mike Suleiman Mutyaba has made a remarkable come back to the Uganda Cranes fold for the CHAN 2020 qualifiers after five years.
He last played for the Cranes in 2014 against Liberia and returns in 2019
Mutyaba had retired from active football in 2017 with a chronic knee injury and then started intermediary business
He, however, made a shocking return at Lugogo in the 2018/19 season where he has been an influential figure in the KCCA FC squad.
Am very happy that at least have been given another chance to represent my country and its a big challenge as well. He told Sports256
The 28 year old who made his Cranes debut at the age of 17, started his football career at St Mary’s Kitende then joined Bunamwaya(current Vipers), moved to El Merreikh until 2013, then joined TP Mazembe where he spent litle time before returning to Vipers and Express FC
