CECAFA-U20: Anukani Handed First Hippos Start

Uganda Hippos (U20) coach Morley Byekwaso has handed Proline midfielder Bright Anukani his first start in the CECAFA challange Cup tournament.

Bright who joined the team late from senior national team duty, was not part of the team that drew in the first game against Eritrea and came on as a substitute in the 5-1 humiliation of Djibouti in Uganda’s second game.

Sadam Masereka who hasn’t played a single minute, also gets his first start of the tournament.

Defender Kigundu Derrick and Najib Yiga have been dropped to the bench and Joseph Kafumbe returns to the starting XI.

Right back Justine Opiro is injured and ruled out.
