Favourites to scoop this year’s Sports media title Gugudde TV and FUFA FM are drawn in group B and A respectively
Christian based TV station Gugudde has been pitted in tricky group B ahead of the sports media gala on Sunday 13th October 2019 at MNS Namboole according to the draws that has been held at the stadium boardroom on Thursday afternoon.
Gugudde face Kingdom Media, Top Media, Dream Tv and Daily Monitor at Group stages and the two teams from each group will automatically make cut to the round of 16.
Gugudde captain David ‘Didi’ Tumusime didn’t hide the stations’ target of winning the first ever Sports media championship.
The team is in good shape, we have had enough preparations, got Some friendly games and every player’s morale is high and the attitude is right. I promise Gugudde TV viewers, fans and the management that we are going out to fight for this first ever Sports media title, God with us, we shall win the title on Sunday because every worker here has a champions’ heart. The Football radio, FUFA FM another serious contender for the prestigious title, will take on Bukedde Tv, Capital Fm, Prime Radio, N-Tv at the first huddle in Group A.
Red Paper, Baba, Bukedde, New Vision, Kawowo Sports and Swift Sports will be other teams expected to put up serious challenge for the title.
Thirty media houses confirmed their participation in the Sports media gala and have been pitted in six groups.
All media personalities that will participate for the Media houses are required to present the Company 1Ds according to the event organisers.
