Ground Set For Masaza Cup 15th Edition Final as Busiro Battle Bulemezi

Buganda Kingdom minister of Sports Owek. Henry Sekabembe has today Monday morning showcased the trophy and launched the tickets for the Masaza Cup 2019 finals set this Saturday at MNS Namboole.

At the function held at Bulange Mengo, the trophy was availed to the media and as well the tickets have been let out that include; the gold (VVIP) ticket that goes for Shs 100,000, VIP ticket, up for grabs at shs 20.000 and Ordinary for Shs 10,000.

I must say, we are fully prepared just waiting for the day, I urge fans to get their tickets early because we made only tickets that equate to stadium capacity. My role now is to get to Kabaka’s people so that we fill Namboole on Saturday.

Owek. Sekabembe appreciated Bulemezi county fan Prossy Najuka who bought five instant tickets and called upon other people to join the cause.

I thank her for supporting her county and I call upon political leaders in their different capacities, Companies and schools to buy tickets, support the fans with buses to transport the people to reach Namboole in big numbers.

Debutants in Masaza finals, Busiro’s best performance was in 2017 when they lost 4-2 to Buddu in the classification match at Namboole.

Bulemezi playing in the third final, has only won the title once in 2012 defeating Buwekula 2-1 and lost the other final 1-0 to Bululi in 2011.

In the classification match, 2016 champions Buddu take on 2008 champions Kyaddondo and both have won the prestigious title once .

The Masaza Cup 2019 champions will walk away with Shs 12m and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd runers up will bag Shs 10m, 7m, 5m according to Owek Henry Sekabembe.

Abdul Karim Wejuli of Bulemezi holds the Masaza Cup all time top scorer’s record with 18 goals.

Masaza Cup 2019 final tickets will be sold at four locations starting today Monday
