Park Football Club and Mengo City kicked off the Futsal Super league 2019/20 season on a bright note with wins and Kisenyi defeated Aidenal Futsal Club in the opening fixtures played at MTN Arena Lugogo on Monday.
Najib Muwonge scored the first season hat trick for Mengo city to edge a stubborn Kabowa side in the first league fixture.
Stephen Mugalu brace wasnt enough for Kabowa to salvage a point in the memorable first fixture of the season at MTN arena Lugogo.
Debutants Kisenyi FC shocked Aidenal School of Soccer Art FC 4-1; Islam Ssemakula bagged a brace, Abdifatah Ahmed Omar and Umar Ssebuliba managed a piece each.
Mukalazi signed from Nkumba Univ, scored the only goal for Aidenal on his debut goal.
In the last game, last season title contenders Park FC edged new comers intercity 5-4 in another entertaining clash.
Shafic Mulangira who was influential in Park squad last season, opened his season goal account, musician Bebe Cool’s son Alpha T. Ssali, Arafat Sentongo, Angello Kizza and
Iddi clash were other scorers for Park.
John Ssegawa after a big money move from Dream FC, Kazibwe Swahib and Frank were on target for the new boys Intercity.
Debutants Kisenyi currently lead the log with 3 points but with a better goal difference three then Park and Mengo city are second and third respectively.
